Today I interview another one of my event filmmaking colleagues David Robin.
David is a true master of of the visual medium. He's an international
award-winner (he's won just about every award in the business,
multiple times), speaker, instructor, and an EventDV 25 videographer,
one of the top 25 videographers in the industry as voted by our peers.
(An honor I got for the first time this year. This marks the third
year in a row, since the award's inception, that David has had that
nod.) In this casual "sit down" at a Tony Roma's restaurant the San
Fernando Valley, David and I chat about his entrance into the business
over 20 years ago, family life, inspiration, his documentary, forums,
and our take on the Coen Brothers film "No Country for Old Men." The
only thing we're missing is a "spot of tea."
